Present at the Shanghai exhibition of 2010, Algeria obtained the gold medal of category C with a pavilion with an area of 1000 sq.m.
The Algerian pavilion was characterized by the respect of the theme of the exhibition and the importance given to informing the public about cities, urban planning and architecture in Algeria, The pavilion welcomed nearly 3 million visitors of 100 different nationalities.
Under the theme: inherited from history and the perspective of the future. Visitors were able to stroll through the reconstructed streets of the Casbah with exhibition stops in the form of small windows; to climb, then, to the top floor to have a panoramic view in the form of a documentary projection, telling the history, the hope for the future of Algerians as well as their determination to develop emerging cities.

شاركت الجزائر في معرض شنغهاي إكسبو عام 2010، حيث حصلت على ميدالية ذهبية في فئتها بجناح مساحته 1000 متر مربع
تميز الجناح الجزائري باحترامه لموضوع المعرض والأهمية التي يوليها لتعريف الجمهور بالمدن وتخطيط المدن والهندسة المعمارية في الجزائر. استقبل الجناح ما يقرب من 3 ملايين زائر من 100 جنسية مختلفة.
تحت شعار: التاريخ الموروث وآفاق المستقبل. تمكن الزوار من التجول في شوارع القصبة المعاد بناؤها مع توقفات للعرض على شكل نوافذ صغيرة. للوصول الى الطابق العلوي و الحصول على منظر بانورامي على شكل عرض وثائقي، يحكي تاريخ الجزائريين وأملهم في المستقبل بالإضافة إلى تصميمهم على تطوير المدن الناشئة.
