(en) Architectural and Urban Ensemble in West Algiers
This is a genuine architectural and urban complex designed by architect Tarik Bey Ramdane in Cheraga and Dely Brahim.
Located on a site of approximately 7 hectares, the project developed progressively over about a decade, resulting in a district with residential, tourist, and commercial functions. The program includes housing of varied typologies, a hotel, office spaces, as well as a commercial village.
The architecture adopted is contemporary, with an explicit Mediterranean reference. Despite the diversity of the program and building heights, the overall composition remains well controlled: one storey for individual villas; three to seven storeys for the shopping center, residences, and offices; and fifteen and twenty-six storeys for the residential towers and the hotel. These latter structures now form an urban landmark, visible from the western entrance of Algiers, particularly from the Ben Aknoun ring road.
A graduate of the EPAU (Algiers), Tarik Bey Ramdane asserted a personal architectural language early on, which has become more refined and defined over time. He received the National Architecture Prize for the Tours Residence in 2015 and for Garden City in 2021.
مجمع معماري وحضري غرب الجزائر(ع)
يُعدّ هذا المشروع مجمعًا معماريًا وحضريًا متكاملًا، صمّمه المعماري طارق باي رمضان في الشراقة ودالي إبراهيم.
أُنجز المشروع على مساحة تُقدَّر بحوالي 7 هكتارات، وتطوّر بشكل تدريجي على مدى ما يقارب عشر سنوات، ليُشكّل في نهايته مركّبًا ذا طابع سكني وسياحي وتجاري.يضمّ البرنامج وحدات سكنية بأنماط مختلفة، إلى جانب فندق، ومكاتب، وقرية تجارية.
تعتمد العمارة المعتمدة لغة معاصرة ذات مرجعية متوسطية واضحة. ورغم تنوّع الوظائف وارتفاعات المباني، يحافظ المشروع على انسجامه العام: طابق واحد للمنازل الفردية، من ثلاثة إلى سبعة طوابق للمركز التجاري والمساكن والمكاتب، وصولًا إلى خمسة عشر وستة وعشرين طابقًا لأبراج السكن والفندق.
تُشكّل هذه الأبراج اليوم معلمًا حضريًا بارزًا، يمكن تمييزه منذ المدخل الغربي لمدينة الجزائر، ولا سيّما من الطريق السريع بن عكنون .
المعماري طارق باي رمضان، خريج المدرسة المتعددة العلوم للهندسة المعمارية والعمران (EPAU)، يبرز منذ وقت مبكر أسلوبًا معماريًا خاصًا تطوّر وتكرّس مع مرور الوقت. وهو متوّج بالجائزة الوطنية للعمارة عن مشروع إقامة الأبراج سنة 2015، وعن مشروع غاردن سيتي (Garden City) سنة 2021.
