The architect was endowed with great artistic faculties from a young age, he headed towards studies in Architecture at the Paris School of Fine Arts, from which he graduated in 1976.
As soon as he returned to Algeria, he began looking for a new architecture, resolutely modern but inspired by our heritage, authentic but free from folklorism, close to the architectural language of “Roland Simounet” an architect born and having worked in Algeria, and whose approach seemed relevant to him.
He created several private residences in Algiers with refined shapes and lines, but also some public commissions within the country. He also leaves valuable writings; like his contribution to the magazine « Esprit » in 1995 entitled “La ville absente”.
Abdenour Djellouli died in 2007 at the age of just 56.

كان المهندس المعماري يتمتع بقدرات فنية كبيرة منذ صغره، فتوجه إلى دراسة الهندسة المعمارية في مدرسة باريس للفنون الجميلة، وتخرج منها عام 1976.
عند عودته إلى الوطن، بحث عن هندسة معمارية جديدة، حديثة ولكنها مستوحاة من تراثنا، أصيلة ولكنها متحررة من الفولكلورية. كان قريب من اللغة المعمارية لـ “رولاند سيمونيه” الذي بدا له نهجه مناسبًا.
أنشأ العديد من المساكن الخاصة في الجزائر العاصمة بما في ذلك السفارات، كما ترك مؤلفات قيمة؛ مثل مساهمته في مجلة Esprit عام 1995 بعنوان “La ville abssente” التي تناولت صدمة الفضاء والمدينة في الجزائر.
توفي عبد النور جلولي عام 2007 عن عمر يناهز 56 عاما.
